Fantastic Theresa!
I will add your location to the list. Thank you for the update.
Reblogged this on You think I just don't understand, but I don't believe you..
What can people outside the USA do about this? Is there a petition or something?
If you are outside the USA, the best way to help is to raise awareness. If you have a blog, blog about the rally plans and direct your readers to the event page so that they can get involved if they want to. If you are on Facebook, share a status update on pages, on your profile, or in groups to let others know and guide them to the event page. There is need for people on the ground hosting the rallies and a backup team getting the word out.
You can enlist in the backup team 😉
Thank you so much for your support and for getting involved.
no probs, listed it on my blog to all of the 5 viewers I have, but have shared it on Facebook too, I know this situation is bad enough anyway, but coming at the same time of the Zimmerman case makes it even worse I think.

Don’t know what you can do if you’re not in the USA, but did ask the question on the original posting.
I am organizing a rally in Orlando, Florida. Working on logistics and location now, but you can add that one to the list.
Will do. Fantastic. If you make a Facebook page, let me know so I can directly link it here.
Thank you Amy!
I tend to think that rallies are not particularly effective tools, but this seems like a more strategic effort, coordinating rallies on one day, domestically and globally. I’ve added a link to here on my Free Marissa page in the what you can do section. I have written a pretty complete overview of the case with some analysis, http://politicalseason.blogspot.com/p/freedom4marissa.html
This is great! Thank you!
You can also direct people here for more info and to meet other organizers: https://www.facebook.com/events/382954828472984/
I am going to post your article to our facebook page.
Let’s get her out!
